Kairos Ventures portfolio company MixComm has appointed Mike Noonen as CEO. The semiconductor veteran joins the leadership team that includes MixComm’s CTO and Co-Founder Dr. Harish Krishnaswamy, Co-Founder and VP of Engineering Frank Lane and VP of RF Technology Dr. Arun Natarajan.
Noonen brings to the role years of proven experience building semiconductor companies and successfully introducing new technologies.
Most recently Noonen was SVP, Global Sales, Marketing and Business Development at Rambus. Mr. Noonen has held executive positions at Silego Technology (acquired by Dialog Semiconductor), Ambiq Micro, GLOBALFOUNDRIES, NXP, National Semiconductor and Cisco Systems. In 2013 he was elected to the Global Semiconductor Alliance board of directors. Noonen started his career as an applications engineer teaching mixed-signal IC design.

Throughout his career he has been very deeply involved with semiconductor entrepreneurs as he was the Chairman and co-founder of Silicon Catalyst, the world’s first semiconductor incubator based in Silicon Valley. Silicon Catalyst won the 2015 EE Times/EDN “Start-up of the Year” Ace Award.
